Diagnosis.

Bombiform bee; pterostigma larger than prestigma; vein 1m-cu curved apically in its anterior half; vein r-rs reaching pterostigma at midpoint; second abscissa of Rs relatively straight; vein 2rs-m curved apically in its posterior half; vein 2m-cu slightly curved at midpoint, reaching M basad to 2rs-m; two tibial spurs; corbicula with setae longer than metatibia width.
