Salmoneus colinorum De Grave 2004: 41 , figs. 1–4.

Material examined. Indonesia. 1 non-ov. specimen ( MZB Cru 4054), southern Lombok, Teluk Sekotong, sandmud flat adjacent to small mangrove, burrow, suction pump, 0–0.2 m, leg. D.L. Rahayu et al., 14 May 2014 [LB- St6-31].

Taxonomic account. See De Grave (2004).

Habitat. Intertidal sand-mud flats, usually at mangrove edges; associated “commensally” with burrows of larger snapping shrimps, presumably a species from the Alpheus malabaricus ( Fabricius, 1775) complex ( De Grave 2004; present study).

Distribution. Indo-West Pacific: Palau and Indonesia (new record) ( De Grave 2004; present study).

Remarks. The single specimen of Salmoneus colinorum from Sekotong Bay in southern Lombok is missing its major cheliped. It is only slightly smaller (cl 3.3 mm) than the type specimens of S. colinorum from Palau (cl 3.7–4.3 mm, estimated from postorbital carapace length) and agrees well with the description provided by De Grave (2004), including the diagnostic reddish-purple banded colour pattern ( Fig. 18 ). This is the first record of S. colinorum since its original description.
