Material examined. 1 immature. Ƥ, 3 ƤƤ, 2 immature 33, T. Wandoor, Andaman Islands, intertidal sediments among macroalgae ( Halimeda opuntia ), December 2005; coll. T. Chatterjee, 2 ƤƤ, South Andaman: Wandoor (11°40.55’N, 92°45.12’E), Port Blair, Andaman Islands, intertidal sediments among macroalgae ( Padina sp.), December 2005; coll. T. Chatterjee.

Body dimensions. 1.30–1.39 mm.

Distribution. Tanabe Bay—Gamô (1962).

Remarks. This is the first report of this species from India as well as from the Indian Ocean.
