Material examined. 1 immature Ƥ, South Andaman: Wandoor (11°40.55’N, 92°45.12’E), Port Blair, Andaman Islands, intertidal sediments among macroalgae ( Halimeda opuntia ), December 2005; coll. T. Chatterjee. Body dimensions. 0.7 mm.

Distribution. West Pacific Ocean: Moreton Bay, New South Wales, Queensland, Australia. Indian Ocean: Bay of Bengal, India: Kilakari, Tamil Nadu; Ross Channel, Andaman Islands, 3–17 m—Kurian (1954). Remarks. This species has here been found again from the Andaman Islands after more than 50 years.
