Material examined. 1 immature 3, in intertidal sediments among macroalgae ( Padina sp.), Burmanalla, South Andaman Island (11°33.45’N; 92°43.78’E), December 2005; coll. T. Chatterjee; 4 ƤƤ, Wandoor, Andaman Islands, intertidal sediments among macroalgae ( Halimeda opuntia ), December 2005; coll. T. Chatterjee. 2 ƤƤ, South Andaman: Wandoor (11°40.55’N, 92°45.12’E), Port Blair, Andaman Islands, intertidal sediments among macroalgae ( Padina sp.), December 2005; coll. T. Chatterjee.

Body dimensions. 1.3 mm.

Distribution. Western Australia ( Hale, 1949).

Remarks. This is the first record of this species from India.
