Distribution.

CHILE: Metropolitan Region ( Martínez and Peña-Guzmán 1994, Mondaca 2005, Krajcik 2008, Mondaca 2016).

Types.

Holotype ♂ of Oogenius gutierrezi at MNNC ( Mondaca 2016); 2 paratype specimens at MNNC; 1 paratype specimen at PVGH (Fig. 49 View Figure 49 ); 6 ♂ paratypes in CMNC; 2 specimens at MACN that are labeled as holotype and allotype are not valid type specimens (pers. comm. José Mondaca, Aug. 2016).
