Indian distribution: India [no further locality] ( Lal 1960: 13).

World distribution: Borneo, Indonesia [not India] ( Wulp 1872: 277; Lal 1960: 13; Oldroyd 1975: 134).

Note: No specimen base to confirm distribution in India. The species is excluded from the Indian fauna based on the conclusion of Oldroyd (1975: 134) that existing Indian records were based solely on the speculation by Lal (1960: 13).
