World distribution: Indonesia, Malaysia [not India] ( Walker 1855: 551; Oldroyd 1975: 113).

Note: No occurrence records are currently known from modern India. The only known Indian occurrence citation ( Lal 1960: 66) refers to the type locality, East Indies , which is considered a part of the islands of southeastern Asia not India .
