World distribution: Indonesia? [not India] ( Walker 1849: 343; Oldroyd 1975: 120).

Note: No specimen base to confirm distribution in India. The only known Indian occurrence citation ( Lal 1960: 49) refers to the type locality, East Indies , which is considered a part of the islands of southeastern Asia not India .
