Note: The species-group name congedus Walker, 1851 (currently considered a valid species in Neomochtherus ), was recorded in both Heligmonevra and Neomochtherus by Joseph & Parui (1983a: 350, 358; 1990a: 53, 60). We correct the duplication here and accept recognition of the species in Neomochtherus .
