Body small, usually with wrinkles and small granules. Width of vertex equal to or narrower than width of one eye; transit from fastigium of vertex to frontal ridge rounded in lateral view, frontal ridge roundly protruding between antennae, with longitudinal groove above median ocellus. Antennae filiform, inserted between bottom or lower margins of eyes. Pronotum slightly tectiform in forepart, flat in posterior part, anterior margins straight or obtuse angular protuberant. Median carina of pronotum entire or interrupted; posterior pronotal process cuneate, not reaching, reaching or surpassing apex of hind femora; posterior margins of lateral lobes with two concavities, apex of posterior angles rounded. Tegmina ovate, hind wings developed, abbreviated or absent. Upper and lower margins of fore femora straight, mid femora narrower or wider than the visible portion of tegmina, lower margins of mid femora straight or undulated; hind femora stubby, first segment of hind tarsi longer than third.
