Orientochorus nov. gen.

Type species. Orientochorus tonkinensis nov. sp.

Diagnosis. Subantennal transverse carina and groove between lower eye margin and clypeus absent. Ventral mandibular tooth distinctly larger than dorsal tooth. Clypeus 1.5 × wider than long, clypeal sulcus slightly present ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ). Maxillary palp very long, c 1.3 × longer than eye.Area superomedia almost rectangular, anterior transverse carina (costula) absent ( Fig 17A View FIGURE 17 ). Nervellus of hind wing vertical, not intercepted. Discoidella of hind wing absent. 1 st tergite slender, 2.6 × longer than wide, with distinct dorsal-lateral carina at level of spiracle. Postpetiolus finely rugose-punctate, partly with two paramedian longitudinal ridges.

Taxonomical remark. This new genus runs to the genus Artherola Wahl from South Africa in the key of Riedel & Araujo (2022), but differs by its smaller and longer clypeus, densely punctate face and mesoscutum, absence of anterior transverse carina (costula) of propodeum, slender 1 st tergite and roughly structured postpetiolus. From the genus Dolichochorus Strobl , it differs by the absent discoidella of hind wing, absent anterior transverse carina and unequal mandibular teeth with the ventral tooth much longer than the dorsal one.
