Diagnosis. This genus is similar to Phlogotettix Ribaut, 1942 in appearance, but can be distinguished from the latter by the pygofer with an outer process arising from ventral submarginal ridge.
Distribution. Ethiopian ( Linnavuori, 1969), Oriental Region ( Li & Song, 2010; Li et al., 2011; Dietrich et al., 2020).
