Diagnosis. This species resembles P. acutaedeagus but can be distinguished from the latter by the forewings without spots.

Material examined. China: 1♂ (Holotype), Hainan Prov., Dongfang , 9 July 2007, coll. Jichun Xing ( GUGC); Paratypes , 1 ♀, same data as holotype ( GUGC) .

Distribution: China (Hainan) ( Li et al., 2011).
