Bembidion egens Casey, 1918: 132. Type locality: "Jemez Springs [Sandoval County], New Mexico" (original citation). Lectotype (♂), designated by Erwin (1984a: 171), in USNM [# 37016].

Bembidion demissum Casey, 1918: 133. Type locality: "near Benson [Cochise County], Arizona" (original citation). Lectotype (♀), designated by Erwin (1984a: 171), in USNM [# 37019]. Synonymy established by Erwin (1984a: 171).

Distribution.

This species is known from central Wyoming (Natrona County, CMNH) south to northwestern New Mexico (Casey 1918: 132) and southern Arizona (Casey 1918: 133, as Bembidion demissum ; Cochise and Pima Counties, CMNH). The record from northeastern California (Notman 1929b: 223, as Bembidion demissum ) needs confirmation.
