Identification. This species has smooth or only weekly keeled ventral scales, and there is only one femoral pore. Males have a yellow gular patch, and in the WWS pop- ulation there is a large black spot in the center of the gular patch.

Habitat. Enyalioides praestabilis occurs in both primary and secondary forest at WWS. They are found at night while asleep on tree trunks or branches at 0.5–2.5 m above the ground.
