Current name: Ammannia baccifera L. View in CoL View at ENA ( Lythraceae ).

Note: Chamberlain (in Davis, Fl. Turkey 4: 180. 1972) indicated 156.3 (LINN) as the type but this collection lacks the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. “3”) and was a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name. See Hansen & Fox Maule (in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 67: 207. 1973) for comments on Osbeck material.
