Widespread but scattered neotropical species, known from Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay ( Reiner-Drehwald & Goda 2000), Costa Rica ( Holz et al. 2001), Ecuador ( Parolly et al. 2004), and Guadeloupe (Schäfer-Verwimp & Reiner- Drehwald 2009).
