Remarks. Stephenson & Hudson (1957: 361) gave a new epithet to Milne-Edwards’ species because the original name was preoccupied.

Geographical distribution. Western Pacific Ocean, Hawaiian Is.

Habitat. Subtidal, 20–80 m.
