Habitat. Bathyal, 456–1280 m.

An unidentified galatheid (“galatheid long-armed”) was recorded by Chave & Malahoff (1998: table 1) from various locations in the Hawaiian Is., including seamounts. Synonymy, references, and information on the type material of most of the Hawaiian species are given by Baba et al. (2008)
