Type locality. Vietnam (Nghe An: Quy Chau ).

Type material. SORC, Vietnam.

Examined material. 1 C (SORC-HV.059.01) limestone, Chau Thuan , Quy Chau, Nghe An, 9/5/1988 ; 1 C (SORC-PV.059.02) Bu Cao Ma, Hiep Cat, Que Phong , Nghe An, 22/12/1987 ; 2 C (CTU-EW.063.01) forest, Nhu Xuan , Thanh Hoa, 8/1998, coll. Nguyen Thi Nguyet.

Records from Vietnam. Nghe An (Ky Son; Que Phong; Quy Chau) (Do et al. 1994; Do 1994).

Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.

Vietnamese name. Giun khôi.

Remarks. Blakemore (2007a, 2008b) considered it as " species inquirenda ". Material was re-examined and male copulatory pouches were observed. Thus, the species is transferred here to the genus Metaphire .
