Type locality. Vietnam (Gia Lai: An Khe ).
Type material. ZMUM (W.242), Russia.
Records from Vietnam. Gia Lai (An Khe; Buon Luoi) ; Kon Tum (Sa Thay) ( Thai 1984a; Huynh 2005a)
Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.
Vietnamese name. Giun mắt an khê.
Remarks. Thai (1983) proposed a new subgenus Terrata of the genus Pheretima , and placed the species under the new subgenus. Blakemore (2007a, 2008b) considered it as " species inquirenda ", but no further examination is made to confirm its taxonomic status.
