Distribution. Cosmopolitan species, widely known from China, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore, India, Madagascar, Mauritius Isl. ( Gates 1972; Thai & Do 1989; Blakemore 2002).

Vietnamese name. Giun lampito mauriti.

Remarks. The species is usually found in coastal regions in Vietnam.
