Type locality. Vietnam (Khanh Hoa: Duc Mu pass).
Type material. SORC (HV.226), Vietnam.
Examined material. 1 C (SORC-HV.226) Khanh Hoa Prov., Duc Mu pass, 9 January 1989, coll. Spiridonov S.E.
Records from Vietnam. Khanh Hoa (Duc Mu pass) ( Thai 1996).
Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.
Vietnamese name. Trùn Spiridonov.
Remarks. The species is fairly similar to Polypheretima polytheca (Beddard, 19 00) but differs in having spermathecal pores in 4/5–6/7, testes sacs in ventral position, absence of a copulatory pouch, and absence of genital markings ( Thai 1996).
