Disparomitus maynei Navás, 1925: 126 .

Transferred to the genus Apodicolpus and labelled Apodicolpus primitivus (van der Weele, 1909) (unpublished new combination) by Tjeder.

Material examined. Syntype ♂, Disparomitus maynei Navás, 1925 , DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF

CONGO, Kalemie [Albertville], -5.912739/29.191392, alt. 770 m,?. xii.1918, R. Mayné leg., Apodicolpus primitivus van der Weele det. Tjeder 1974, (00723 P, R. DÉT. H 1102 MRAC). Syntype ♀ of Disparomitus maynei Navás, 1925 , DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, Mayumbe, 2.5/27.616667, alt. 745 m, vii.1917 (date crossed out on the label), R. Mayné leg., (00724, R. DÉT. i 1102 MRAC).

These two specimens have been examined by Navás who mentions them in his original description and has labelled them as "type". Tjeder labelled the male specimen as lectotype of Disparomitus maynei Navás but never published this designation.
