Type material: The holotype of M. marginata has been examined. Lectotype ♀ of M. albocincta , designated here, a female in good condition, labeled as follows: 1. “Marseille”. 2. coll. Pérez Mus. Paris [printed]. 3. “ Lectotype M. albocincta des. Baker 1976” ( MNHN). This designation has not been published and is accepted here. Additional material: EGYPT: 1 ♂, Burg (Cairo), 16–20.vi.1956, leg. Sh. M. ( EFC). Distribution : Widely distributed through warm regions of the entire Western Palearctic. Diagnosis : This widely distributed species will be fully characterized in a subsequent work .
