Redescription. Length 10.0– 12.5 mm, width 7.0– 8.6 mm. General color ( Figs 43A–43C View FIGURE 43 ) yellow; antennomeres X–XI and metasternum black; elytra with two pairs of black spots on the elytra, one pair at middle near lateral margins and the other near suture at apical 1/3. Antennae filiform in males ( Fig. 44A View FIGURE 44 ), antennomeres IV longest, VI–XI stout, length ratios of antennomeres I–XI 1.0: 0.7: 0.9: 1.0: 0.8: 0.7: 0.7: 0.6: 0.6: 0.6: 0.7, length to width ratios of antennomeres I–XI 3.7: 1.9: 2.5: 2.6: 2.1: 2.1: 2.0: 2.1: 2.3: 2.2: 2.6; broader in female ( Fig. 44B View FIGURE 44 ), length ratios of antennomeres I–XI 1.0: 0.6: 0.7: 0.8: 0.7: 0.7: 0.7: 0.6: 0.6: 0.6: 0.7, length to width ratios of antennomeres I–XI 2.9: 2.0: 2.3: 2.1: 2.2: 1.8: 2.1: 2.0: 2.0: 1.9: 2.5. Pronotum transverse, 2.3x wider than long, disc without fine punctures, baso-lateral angles rounded, apico-lateral angles rectangular, apical margin weakly concave. Elytra oval, widest at middle, 1.1–1.2x longer than wide; disc with reticulate microsculpture, moderately convex, epipleurae located 6/7 distance between suture and lateral margins, strongly broadened at basal 1/5, and abbreviated at basal 1/3; humeral calli prominent. Penis ( Figs 44C–44E View FIGURE 44 ) elongate, 9.2x longer than wide; parallel-sided, abruptly broadened subapically; tectum elongate, deeply bifurcate at basal 1/3, apically connected with each other by transverse sclerite; penis moderately curved in lateral view, apex narrowly rounded; ventral surface with shallow, narrow but slightly and medially broadened notch from apex to apical 1/6; internal sac without sclerites. Apical margin of abdominal ventrite V in female moderately concave. Gonocoxae ( Fig. 44F View FIGURE 44 ) separated, triangular, without setae. Ventrite VIII ( Fig. 44G View FIGURE 44 ) transverse, apical margin with one pair of rounded processes at middle, with dense, long setae along apical margin, spiculum short. Receptacle of spermatheca ( Fig. 44H View FIGURE 44 ) wide, connected to pump; pump strongly curved, apex broadly rounded; proximal spermathecal duct very small but broad, covered with transverse ridges, both sides of ridges terminating in a minute tooth.

Variation. A number of specimens possess entirely yellow elytra without black spots. Some specimens possess only one pair of black spots at the middle of the elytra and near the lateral margins. Specimens of the latter were described as O. kanaraensis .

Diagnosis. Specimens of O. innocua are easily recognized by their dull, broadly oval elytra and prominent humeral calli.
