Note.

This cosmopolitan genus is the largest of the subfamily Laccophilinae , with 285 species (Nilsson and Hákej 2020), 26 of which are recorded from Mexico ( Arce-Pérez and Roughley 1999; Nilsson and Hájek 2020).
