Diagnostic characters: Fastigium of vertex narrow conical, dorsally furrowed. Antennae without white rings. Pronotum with fine, yellowish median carinula, disc rounded, apical area flattened, posterior margin of pronotum truncate. Tegmina slender, radius sector with 3-4 branches; media straight, running about in middle between radius sector, and cubitus with vertical, rather regularly spaced, transverse veinlets; stridulatory file with a break shortly before posterior end, anterior femora not compressed, straight, front coxae with spines, cerci not strongly curved dorsally, apex securiform, lobes of male subgenital plate widely separated in the middle.

Distribution: India: Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh (Bastar, Bilaspur, Kabirdham, Dhamtari, Gariyaband, Surguja and Raipur), Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Orissa, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura and West Bengal. Elsewhere: Australia; Indonesia; Java; Nepal; Philippines and Sri Lanka.
