Remarks.

Some authors considered the species to be a synonym of Demidospermus cornicinus Kritsky & Gutiérrez, 1998 ( Cohen and Kohn 2008a, Monteiro et al. 2010a). Takemoto et al. (2009) referred to it as Demidospermus labrosi .
