Description. External features similar to S. taopenna , but with crown patch larger, and extended from base to apex ( Figs 1e, f, g, h View FIGURE 1 ).

Male 2S abdominal apodemes rudimentary, small, short and slender ( Fig. 4b View FIGURE 4 ). Anal tube short, with well sclerotized dorsal ring foot-like on distal region ( Fig. 4a View FIGURE 4 ).

Pygofer dorsal appendage long and slim, tapered towards apex, curved anteroventrad then hooked sharply posterad, apex slightly surpassing posterior margin of pygofer lobe ( Figs 4a, c View FIGURE 4 ); ventral appendage absent; several rigid microsetae forming a group at cephalo-ventral angle, 1 macroseta near dorsal appendage, and several microsetae scattered on inner side of posterior margin ( Fig. 4a View FIGURE 4 ). Subgenital plate slightly expanded subbasally, with 3 stout microsetae near base, and a row of microsetae along outer margin from subbase to apex, 3 macrosetae of different lengths in a row from subbase to middle ( Fig. 4a View FIGURE 4 ). Connective central lobe much longer than lateral arms ( Fig. 4d View FIGURE 4 ). Style apex foot-like with short acute heel and longer toe, with minute furrows and row of irregular teeth ( Figs 4e, f View FIGURE 4 ). Aedeagus with preatrium well developed but shorter than shaft, shaft with pair of broad lamellar lateral processes rounded in ventral view, gonopore apical ( Figs 4g, h View FIGURE 4 ).

Measurement. Male 3.60mm, female 3.55mm.

Material examined. Holotype: ♁, CHINA, Hunan Prov., Chenzhou, 2020.VII, coll. Deliang Xu ; Paratypes: 3♁ 4♀, same data as holotype .

Remarks. This new species is similar to S. diaoluoensis , but has the aedeagal shaft curved dorsad subapically with lamellar processes laterally and the gonopore apical.

Etymology. This specific epithet is derived from the Greek “dipterygus” (two wing), referring to the aedeagal shaft having wing-shaped processes in ventral view.
