Type specimen. ɗ holotype ( NMNH) collected by D. Culbreth in March 1962 in Waycross, Ware Co., Georgia ( Causey 1963, Hoffman 1999, Shelley 2004).

Diagnosis. Posterior gonopod accessory prefemoral process angling caudad and overlapping anterior margin of telopodite, tapering smoothly and continuously to subacuminate tip.

Distribution. No new records are available; Arevchambus weemsi is still known only from the type locality.
