Remarks.

This species was previously described by Stoliczka (1873) from the base of the hill in the north, at ca 100 feet above sea level. It was not found during the sampling of this study. However, this species was recently photographed on Penang Hill (Fig. 22 E View Figure 22 ). It is thought to be a widespread species found from East Asia to Indochina ( Tsai et al. 2011 Inkhavilay et al. 2019; Ito et al. 2023).
