Ecological category. Epigeic.
Habitat. Under bark of decaying logs and under fallen leaves in higher elevations.
Zoogeographical distribution type. Central European (montane).
Distribution in Croatia. Only in western part of Croatia in all three regions. Szüts (1919): Jasenak, Perušić, Sljeme; Rucner & Rucner (1971): Bijeli Vrh, Cesargradska gora, Crikvenica, Plitvička jezera; Šapkarev (1972, 1979): Janjičarski vrh, Galovac, Korenička Kapela, Kozjak (Plitvice); Karaman (1972): Crni Lug; Zicsi (1968): Plitvička jezera; Mršić (1987a): Mokrice, Sljeme Štirovača (Velebit).
