20. E. dispilus (Szépligeti) View in CoL ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 )

Ophion (Enicospilus) [ sic] arcuatum Felt, 1902: 307. Syntypes ♂, ♀, USA (Albany). [Junior pri

mary homonym of Ophion arcuatus Brullé, 1846 .] Henicospilus dispilus Szépligeti, 1906: 145 . Holotype ♀, Brazil (TM). Enicospilus fuscipennis flavostigma Hooker, 1912: 1958 View in CoL . Holotype ♀, French Guiana (USNM)

[Synoymized by Gauld, 1988: 296.] Enicospilus purgatus arcuatus (Felt) Hooker, 1912: 76 . Enicospilus dispilus (Szépligeti) Hooker, 1912: 87 . Enicospilus arcuatus (Felt) Wolcott, 1923: 65 .

Enicospilus falvostigma Hooker ; Townes & Townes, 1966: 178.

Present paper records E. dispilus View in CoL for first time to the country but according to previously known distribution from Canada to South America ( Gauld, 1988), it was otherwise expected. Three new species described below ( grilloi View in CoL , hansonorum View in CoL and wahli View in CoL ) are rather similar to E. dispilus View in CoL , but they differ in a number of critical characteristics outlined in Table 3. In fact the new species can be separated from each other rather easily; the problem arises with E. dispilus View in CoL , one of the most extraordinarily variable species of the genus ( Gauld, 1988). Careful observation of the fore wing figures ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 ) as well as some calculation of the indexes provided in Table 3 can be required in order to accomplish sure determinations.
