Enicospilus neotropicus Hooker, 1912: 69 View in CoL . Lectotype ♀, Dominican Republic (USNM), designated by Townes & Townes (1966: 182).

A species previously known only from Dominican Republic, Jamaica and southern Florida in USA ( Gauld, 1988). One specimen has been found in Cuban collections, being the first but otherwise expected record to the country. Its differences with both E. cheoi View in CoL and E. purgatus View in CoL have been outlined in remarks of that species.

MATERIAL EXAMINED: EC. GT: Peña Blanca, Toa, Yateras VII­1991, L. Roque (1 ♂, MNHNCu) .
