Material examined. China: 2 males, Fujian Prov., Mt. Wuyi, 20.viii.2002, Coll. Sun Qinxia; 6 males, 9 females, Hunan Prov., Mt. Heng, 8~ 11.viii.1985; 1 male, Guangdong Prov., Mt. Dinghu, 17.vii.1985, Coll. Zhang Yalin; 1 male, 1 female, Guizhou Prov., Xiaokong County, 17.ix. 2005, 740m, Coll. Yang Zhaofu; 1 male, 1 female, Shaanxi Prov., Dali County, 4.ix.1980, Coll. Liu Shaoyou (NWAFU).

Distribution. China (Fujian, Hunan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guizhou, Shaanxi), Nepal, Micronesia, Malaysia, Caroline Islands.

Host: Black bean.

Remarks. This species can be distinguished by the following features: pronotum with three pale green longitudinal bands; aedeagal base expanded, shaft strongly curved at nearly right angle at midlength; female pregenital sternite (7th abdominal segment) with apex arcuately emarginate medially and ovipositor not exceeding pygophore.
