Type Locality: No locality cited; South Africa by implication; Cape Colony (Lydekker, 1914 a:157) or Cape of Good Hope (G. M. Allen, 1939:504); since selected as Western Cape Prov., Cape Peninsula ( Grubb,1999:23) .

Vernacular Names: Cape Grysbok.

Distribution: South Africa (Western Cape, Eastern Cape).

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (cd).
