An Oriental species whose adults have been found on Artiodactyla : Bovidae and Cervidae . Haemaphysalis colasbelcouri is a very rare parasite of humans.

Note: Kolonin (2009) believes that Haemaphysalis colasbelcouri is probably a synonym of Haemaphysalis vietnamensis , and more than one species may exist under this name. Camicas et al. (1998) treat the larva and nymph of Haemaphysalis colasbelcouri as undescribed, ignoring the descriptions listed above.
