An Oriental species whose adults and nymphs have been found on Artiodactyla : Bovidae and Cervidae , and Perissodactyla : Equidae ; adults alone have been collected from Carnivora : Felidae and Mustelidae . There are no records of Haemaphysalis davisi causing human parasitism.
