An Australasian species whose adults are usually found on Squamata (several families) and rarely on Diprotodontia : Macropodidae , and Perissodactyla : Equidae ; immature stages have been collected from Squamata : Agamidae , Elapidae and Scincidae . Amblyomma moreliae is a very rare parasite of humans.
