A Neotropical species whose adults are usually found on Pilosa : Myrmecophagidae , but they have also been collected from Pilosa : Bradypodidae , Carnivora : Canidae , and Squamata : Boidae and Viperidae . There are no records of Amblyomma goeldii feeding on humans.
