Description. Length of males 9.5-10.5 mm, females 10.2-10.7 mm. Similar to N. decliva in general size and color. Male genitalia: Pygofer ( Fig. 21-22) about twice as long as wide, narrowing to small rounded apex, with spine-like ventral process which has long median spine-like spur on ventral median side. Style ( Fig. 23) long, very narrow to apical third, then slightly expanded, then narrowing to acute apex. Aedeagus ( Fig. 24-25) stout, C-shaped in lateral view, narrowing beyond middle to acute apex, with pair of latero-ventral processes extending along shaft to apex.

Notes. Similar to N. breva , but smaller, and with different male genitalia. It is named for the long spur on the pygofer process, which is much longer than any of the other species of this genus.
