The albosignata species-group
Diagnosis. Members of the species-group are similar to those of the P. khumbuensis species-group but are distinguished by the medial area which is of the same colour as the subbasal and the postmedial areas (in the P. khumbuensis species-group, the medial area is darker than other areas of the forewing), the nearly straight antemedial line (it is sinuous in the P. khumbuensis species-group), and the smooth outer margin of the postmedial line which is dentate in the P. khumbuensis species-group. Additionally, the outer forewing margin of the P. albosignata species-group is less wavy than in the P. khumbuensis species-group. The male genitalia of the species-group differ from those of the P. albirena and P. khumbuensis species-groups by the markedly smaller clavi, the more prominent dorsal costal protrusion, the stronger setae on the cucullus forming a corona (absent in the P. albirena and P. khumbuensis speciesgroups), the stronger asymmetry of digiti, the somewhat more elongate sacculi, and the aedeagus having more elongate carina and vesica. The female genitalia are characterized by the elongate ventral medial process of the antrum (the similar process is present only in P. pateikkaya , but in the latter species it is conspicuously less elongate).
