The khumbuensis species-group
Diagnosis. Members of the species-group are characterized by the bright orange forewing colouration with a darker medial area and a distinct pattern. The male genitalia structure is reminiscent of that of the P. albirena species-group ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 21–23 ) but differs by the asymmetrical clavi, the apically pointed dorsal costal protrusion, the markedly more elongate cucullus, the distally wider sacculus, and the less elongate left digitus which is not protruding beyond the ventral margin of the valva. The female genitalia of the species-group differ from those of the P. albosignata ( Figs 30, 31 View FIGURES 30–35 ) and P. albirena species-groups ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 30–35 ) by the less elongate ductus bursae and the more weakly sclerotized appendix bursae.
