Original description. Tarnogradsky 1959. P. 50, Table. 8, Figs 62 a–g. Description. Shell differs from the typical form by a more elongated shell with oval aperture, laterally compressed, golden-brown.

Measurements. Shell length 19–20 µm, shell width 15–17 µm. Habitat. In Sphagnum .

Geographical distribution. Russia (Caucasus), Belgium, Germany, Spitsbergen.
