Type locality. Nakhichevan : Ordubad. Lectotype: male ( ZIN), here designated.

Material examined. NAKHICHEVAN : Ordubad, 4.1916, 1♂ (Lectotype), 1♀ (Paralectotype) (leg. G. Vinokurov) ( ZIN) ; Ordubad, Araksa , Nah. kr., 6.7.1933, 1♂, 1♀ (leg. Znojko) (det. Miram as Nocarodes woronovi Uv. ) (det. Mistshenko as Araxiana voronovi (Uv.) ( ZIN) ; Ordubad, 4.1916, 1♂, 1♀ (Paralectotypes) (leg. G. Vinokurov) ( MfN) ; Ordubad, Arakse , 22.4.1934, 2♀ (Topotypes) ( NHMUK) .

Distribution. Nakhichevan: Arax Valley, Ordubad ( Fig. 847 ).

Remarks. Uvarov (1918) described this species after 6 males and 8 females syntypes. But Ramme (1951: 297) recorded one male and two females as “paratypes” (MfN). The type specimens in three collections (Tiflis Museum, ZIN, MfN) are still syntypes. Therefore the only male syntype in the ZIN is designated as lectotype here.

The correct original spelling of the species name is “ woronowi ” ( Uvarov 1918).
