Remarks: The test diameter increases rapidly towards the apertural end.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Maastrichtian and Paleocene but its range may be extended to Early Eocene (LE ROY, 1953). In the study area, it is found in the Campanian, Maastrichtian and Paleocene Zones.
