Remarks: The test is somewhat longer than broad and the sutures are distinct and slightly depressed.

Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded by LE ROY (1953) as occurring in the upper part of his Maastrichtian unit “A” and it was indicated by OSMAN (1954) as an index fossil for the Lower Maastrichtian of the Qabeliat Section. In the study area, it is recorded in the Maastrichtian zones ( Globotruncanella havanensis , Globotruncana aegyptiaca and Gansserina gansseri ).
