Stratigraphic distribution: It is recorded in the Cenomanian by OMARA (1956), ANSARY et al. (1962 & 1969) and OMARA & ANDRAWIS (1969). Also, it is recorded in the Cenomanian of the North Sinai, ISMAIL & ELSAADANY (1995). In the study area, it is recorded in the Cenomanian (Raha Formation) of Abu Had section.
